Bryan Properties
Treyburn

Treyburn, acquired by Bryan Properties in 2003, is rich in heritage and natural beauty. Treyburn’s 5300 acres in northern Durham was part of one of the antebellum South's largest plantations. Home to the Cameron and Bennehan families from the 1700s to mid-1900s; a resting place for Daniel Boone before his exploration west; and the site of mid-nineteenth century slave quarters and barns, Treyburn is a landmark. The seventeenth-century, tree-lined Catawba Indian Trading Path, once the major route from Virginia to Georgia, crosses Treyburn; it is being carefully preserved.

Today, the neighborhood is comprised of homes built next to the Little River Reservoir and around the Tom Fazio, 18-hole Championship Golf Course of Treyburn Country Club. In addition to being rated one of the Top Ten golf courses in NC by Golf Digest, the Club offers an Olympic pool; casual and fine dining; a fitness center; and 8 tennis courts. The Treyburn Corporate Park, home to companies with almost 3000 employees, is a growing employment center.

The future of Treyburn, in the skillful hands of Bryan Properties, introduces single family homes set amidst significant hardwoods; townhomes with golf course vistas; large home sites with water views; and nearly 1,000 acres of permanent open space. Trails and sidewalks connecting the neighborhoods will be a Treyburn hallmark. The combination of exquisite natural beauty and new custom homes is unmatched by any other neighborhood in the Triangle.
